Internet Marketing

Search Engine Marketing is a ‘global’ term applied to the different aspects of marketing and promoting your business via the Internet search engines.

This would usually comprise of different strategies such as Paid Search (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

The difference between SEO & PPC

They are two very different strategies although they both rely on the ‘end user’ searching via a keyword related to your business or service. SEO is the ‘natural’ search listings, or what is referred to in the business as ‘organic’ search results. This is a longer term strategy as consitent work is required in order to climb the rankings naturally. PPC on the other hand is an ‘instant’ strategy as your adverts will start to appear on the search result pages within a few minutes, once an account has been activated.

PPC will require you to allocate a daily / monthly budget in order for your adverts to be ‘triggered’ by a keyword search. With PPC marketing you pay every time a user clicks on your advert, regardless of whether it generates a lead or not. Whilst PPC can generate leads in a very short space of time it needs to be properly managed to ensure a good return on your ongoing investment.

Here at Artemis Internet Markeing we carefully review a clients business objectives in order to formulate a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) plan that will produce the best levels of results for the allocated budget.

We work with many different clients in Sussex and Surrey across many different business sectors so the strategies differ from client to client.
